Raghavendra Mishra, a student of the Center for Sanskrit Studies at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), was arrested by the Delhi Police on charges of molesting a student. Raghavendra Mishra, who was the candidate for president in the JNU Students’ Union election, is also called the ‘Yogi of JNU’.
Raghavendra Mishra was arrested from Sabarmati Hostel of JNU Campus.
According to the reports, around 1 pm on Wednesday afternoon Raghavendra had called a student of JNU to meet him at his room. Then the voice of the girl screaming and crying started coming from the room. When the student and security personnel present in the hostel heard the voice, the girl was found crying.

The guard then informed the local police about the case. The police who reached the spot arrested Raghavendra Mishra alias Yogi. The investigation into the matter is underway.
