JoSAA 5th seat allotment result 2020: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will be going to announce the fifth seat allotment result on Tuesday at its official website. Candidates who have applied for JoSAA 5th round of counselling would be able to check their result online at josaa.nic.in. The result would be out by 5 PM.

Hence, the online reporting, fee payment, document upload and submission of candidate’s response will be done from 5 pm on November 3 till November 5, 2020. The deadline to respond to query is November 6, 2020, till 5 pm.

Steps to check JoSAA 5th seat allotment result 2020:

  • Go to the official website at josaa.nic.in
  • Click on the link flashing on the homepage that reads “5th seat allotment result”
  • Key in your credentials and login
  • The JoSAA 5th seat allotment result 2020 will be displayed on the screen
  • Download the results and take its print out for future reference.

JoSAA 2020 registration process is compulsory for any qualified candidate interested in joining any of the IITs, NITs, IIITs (Triple-I-Ts) and Other-GFTIs (within the purview of JoSAA 2020).

The registration process requires candidates to reconfirm some basic details, viz. gender, state code of eligibility and nationality, and provide their contact details.

Counselling Process details:

Candidates who are participating in the counselling should note that this will be last round of counselling during which they can exercise the exit option from the seat allotment process. All candidates who are part of the counselling process, including those who have been allotted a seat and those who do not wish to change the as well as candidates who have not been allotted a seat yet in the counselling process; will get a last chance of exiting the process today.

Following this, no exit will be allowed for candidates from JoSAA after Round 6.
