Early Life
Aggarwal was born and reared in a Bombay (now Mumbai)-based Punjabi Hindu family. Her father, Vinay Aggarwal, is an entrepreneur in the textile industry, while her mother, Suman Aggarwal, is a confectionary as well as Kajal’s business manager. Kajal has a younger sibling Nisha Aggarwal, an actress in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam cinema.
Aggarwal attended St. Anne’s High School, Fort, Mumbai, and Jai Hind College for her pre-university education. Kishinchand Chellaram College awarded her a bachelor’s degree in mass media with a focus on marketing and advertising. She plans to earn a post-graduate degree in the near future; she has desired an MBA since she was a child.

Kajal Aggarwal attended St. Anne’s High School in Mumbai and Jai Hind College in Mumbai for her pre-university studies (10+2). She received her bachelor’s degree in Mass Media with a concentration in Advertising and Marketing from Kishinchand Chellaram College in Mumbai. In her senior year of college, she interned at Loreal under Smira Bakshi. This was her first opportunity. During one of the photoshoots, the photographer encouraged her to become a model. In addition to her work in South Indian cinema, she has appeared in several Bollywood films, including “Kyun Ho Gaya Na… (2004),” “Singham (2011),” and “Special 26 (2013).”
She debuted as a singer in 2016 with the song “Yenaithu” from the Kannada film “Chakravyuha (2016).”
