Kangana Ranaut says Aditya Chopra stopped didn't allow Sushant Singh Rajput to do Sanjay Leela Bhansali's films

Kangana Ranaut is one such actor in the industry who is known for her outspoken nature and always speaks her mind. Even if she has been part of controversies but she continues to speak about issues from time to time.

Recently, Kangana talked about mafias in Bollywood, nepotism and camps in the film industry during an interview with a news channel.

In one of her statements, she revealed that producer Aditya Chopra and Sushant Singh Rajput had a big showdown. She shared that Sushant and Ranveer Singh had a contract with Aditya Chopra’s production house.

Elaborating the same, the actress stated that Sanjay Leela Bhansali wanted Sushant Singh Rajput as the lead in his film ‘Goliyon Ki Rasleela: Ram Leela’. However, Aditya didn’t allow SSR and instead made Ranveer do the film. After that, SLB wanted to cast Sushant in ‘Bajirao Mastani’ and he was chasing the ‘Kai Po Che!’ actor for five years. But yet again, Chopra decided to let go Ranveer for the film and not Sushant.

She questioned that is this because the late actor was not able to do ‘Chaplusi’ and is that the reason they sabotaged his career!

When the host asked what proof the actress has about the same. To which she replied that SLB has said it in his statement to the police which is out in public domain.

The actress also stated that Sushant was one of the actors who supported her when she talked about nepotism. On the work front, Kangana was last seen in ‘Panga’ and will next feature in films like ‘Thalaivi’ and ‘Dhaakad’.

For the uninitiated, Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide on June 14 at his Bandra residence.
