Karan Johar became a parent to twins Yash and Roohi in February 2017 via surrogacy. He was perhaps amongst the first Bollywood celebrities to have taken this route garnering him a lot of praises. However, social media today is filled with too much hatred and one such user targeted Johar by accusing him of keeping his children away from their mother’s love. The user’s comment was obviously uncalled for and Karan had a befitting reply to it. The producer-director asked the woman to shut up and focus on other important issues rather than giving him unwanted ‘gyaan’.
He wrote, “Ma’m!! With all due respect! Get a life! There are larger issues the country is combatting at the moment and it can very well do without your narrow mindedness! My babies are being LOVED and that’s all that matters…and FYI they have a mother!! My mother! Get it! ???” Bang on, Karan. The head honcho of Dharma productions has been making sure to spend quality time with his kids despite his hectic schedule and has a loving mother who makes sure to nurture the twins in his absence. In fact, he has named his kids after his parents, Hiroo and Yash Johar. The family recently celebrated Yash and Roohi’s second birthday and it was one hell of a birthday.

The celebrated director has always spoken about how his life has changed post embracing parenthood. Karan keeps sharing cute videos and pictures of the twins whenever possible on social media.
The director will soon return to direction with Takht which is one of the most anticipated movies. The movie has an ensemble cast of Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Anil Kapoor among others.
