In a shocking news, Karnataka Vidhana Parishad Deputy Chairman SL Dharme Gowda was found dead on a railway tack near Chickmagalur, his home town in the hills of central Karnataka.
A suicide note was recovered. This comes days after Dharme Gowda was heckled by Congress MLCs in the Karnataka Council.
The Deputy Speaker left his home alone on Monday evening around 7 pm in his Santro car. He reportedly spoke to a few people and gathered information about train timings as well. He even asked the driver to stay back in the car and told him that he is going to get water and will be back soon.
His body has been taken to the Shimoga government hospital for further investigation.
