Kaun Banega Crorepati 12:  KBC has become a fan-favourite show for more reasons than one. Viewers are hooked to Amitabh Bachchan’s signature style of hosting and each contestant has a story to share and something new to reveal. Every time a new contestant takes over the hot seat, Big B also opens up a bit more and shares anecdotes from his personal and professional life. Thirdly, the questions asked in the show not only intrigue the viewers but also helps them gain general awareness on a day-to-day basis.

KBC 12 has so far witnessed three crorepatis, who have all been women; Nazia Nasim, Mohita Sharma and Anupa Das. Now, another contestant faced Rs. 1 crore question in tonight’s episode. Even though he didn’t become this season’s fourth crorepati, the contestant, Tej Bahadur Singh, has impressed one and all with his knowledge, dedication, and calm demeanour.

Hailing from a farmer family, the KBC 12 contestant has aspirations to become an IAS officer. He works on the farms but also studies hard to make his dream of becoming an IAS officer come true. During last night’s episode, Tej got emotional as he shared how his mother had to borrow jewellery so that she could accompany him to the show. He also said that the jewellery his mom was wearing in the episode wasn’t her own.

Singh, who shared that he’d been waiting to come on the show for a long time, also said that he wants to study so that he can help his family on the financial front and also build a new house and fund his younger brother’s education. Singh’s aspirations left Big B and the audience inspired. Big B, in fact, motivated him and was in absolute awe of his dedication towards life.
