KEAM 2020 Exam Schedule: The Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) entrance examinations will be held on July 16, 2020, as per schedule across the different exam centres in the state.
As per reports, Kerala State Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has notified that there will be no change in the KEAM 2020 entrance examination schedule.
The decision has been made in a meeting held to analyse the feasibility regarding the examination being held as per the schedule and indeed there will be no change in the schedule. However, the chief minister was addressing the media in his daily briefing.
Previously the exam was slated to be held on April 20 and 21 but due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic outbreak and subsequent lockdown, the KEAM entrance exams were rescheduled to July 6, 2020 keeping in mind the student’s safety.
The KEAM exams are not the only one which was postponed, however, there are many other national level exams that has been delayed due to lockdown and rising COVID-19 cases.
KEAM will be held in two papers with the first paper of Physics and Chemistry and Mathematics as the second paper. The exam will be conducted in two sessions.
The candidates who opted for exam centres outside Kerala had given a chance to make changes in the exam centres and change them to centres in Kerala if necessary, and those candidates who had previously selected exam centres inside kerala were allowed to change the exam centres outside Kerala in case of place change due to the lockdown.
NOTE: Changes in exam centres within the state were however not allowed.
Candidates who will take the KEAM entrance examination are recommended to visit the official website of the Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations or CEE for further updates related to the entrance examination.
