Earlier we have seen many singers like Sonu nigam, Lucky Ali, Himesh Reshammiya, Aditya Narayan, and others trying their luck in Bollywood. Badshah is all geared up for his debut and the latest to join is none other than Kumar Sanu. Well, the singer is not making his debut in Bollywood, but he has been taken on board for a show in Star Plus ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’.
As per a report in the Mumbai Mirror, Kumar Sanu will be seen in a twist when the protagonist Sikandar played by Mohit Malik comes to know that Kullfi (Aakriti Sharma) is his real daughter. The showrunners feel that Mr. Sanu is the best choice to reveal the truth to Sikandar, who is a Rockstar. The report also says that Kumar Sanu will shoot for a promo and the episode will go air in the next few days.
If this news happens to be true, we would love to see the veteran playback singer on-screen.
Kumar Sanu has earned his name both in Bollywood and Bengali film industry. His songs were very popular in the 90s. He bagged five Filmfare Best Male Playback Singer Award and in 2009, he was awarded the Padma Shri.
