KVPY Aptitude Test 2021 postponed; check details here

Due to the emerging unprecedented surge of COVID-19 cases, and the subsequent restrictions and weekend curfew in many states, the KVPY-Aptitude Test 2021 to be held on 9th January 2022, is postponed in the larger interest of the students.

KVPY Aptitude Test 2021 postponed update: KVPY Aptitude Test 2021, scheduled to be conducted on January 9, 2022, has been postponed.

The Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru has postponed KVPY Aptitude Test 2021 due to the emerging unprecedented surge of COVID-19 cases.

KVPY Aptitude Test 2021 postponed: Here is what official notification says

“Due to the emerging unprecedented surge of COVID-19 cases, and the subsequent restrictions and weekend curfew in many states, the KVPY-Aptitude Test 2021 to be held on 9th January 2022, is postponed in the larger interest of the students. Please check KVPY website regularly for further updates.”

KVPY Aptitude Test 2021: Fellowship Denomination

BASIC SCIENCES:

SA/SX/SB  – during 1st to 3rd years of – B.Sc./B.S./B.Stat./B.Math. / Integrated M.Sc. /M.S.

Monthly Fellowship: Rs. 5000

Annual Contingency Grant: Rs. 20000

 

BASIC SCIENCES:

SA/SX/SB  – during  M. Sc. / 4th to 5th  years of Integrated M.Sc. /M.S./M.Math./M.Stat.

Monthly Fellowship: Rs. 7000

Annual Contingency Grant: Rs. 28000

Application for KVPY-2021 must be done online only

There are three steps to complete your application successfully.
Step 1. Registration
Step 2. Filling personal and academic details, choosing test centres and uploading photo, signature and other certificates, as applicable.
Step 3. Payment of application fees. Please note that you must pay the application fee only at the KVPY application portal. This can be done by using a Credit Card, ATM-Debit Card, UPI or Net Banking. No other means of payment will be accepted. Once the payment is successful and application is submitted, no refund of application fee will be done.

The application fees for KVPY-2021 are as follows:
For General/OBC Category: Rs. 1250, For SC/ST/PWD: Rs. 625 (Bank Charges extra)

The “Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana” (KVPY) is a program started in 1999 by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India to encourage students who are studying Basic Sciences to take up research career in Science. The aim of the program is to identify and encourage talented and motivated students to pursue career in research.
