Former Bihar Chief Minister & Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav on Wednesday, April 10 has written a letter addressed to “the people of Bihar” from jail. In the two page letter, the veteran politician has appealed people to do their bit in saving democracy and the Indian Constitution.

In the tweet, in which he shared the letter, Yadav wrote, “This is the first election in 44 years when I am not with you. I regret not being able to be with you in the poll enthusiasm. I miss you all and that is why I am writing this letter from jail. I hope you will read this letter and help saving democracy and Constitution. Jai Hind, Jai Bharat.”
