Just two days after clashes broke out between lawyers and cops at Delhi’s Tis Hazari court, another scuffle happened between Delhi Police and advocates at Karkardooma court and Saket district court on Monday.
Lawyers at the six district courts in the national capital Tis Hazari, Karkardooma, Saket, Dwarka, Rohini and Patiala House are boycotting work throughout the day. They protested outside court over different issues, including demand of Rs 10 lakhs compensation each to the lawyers who were injured in clash with police at Tis Hazari court on 2nd November.
During the protest, several advocates thrashed a police officer after which cops attacked back.

As many as 20 police officers were injured in the incident, several vehicles were torched and a lawyer was shot on chest during the flare-up on Saturday.
The future course of action will be decided after meetings later in the day.
