NEW DELHI: The online application process has been started by the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) for the recruitment of Assistant Engineers (A.E) – Civil/ Electrical/ Structural/ MEP & Assistant Architect (A.A) and Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO) Specialist on its official website.
Interested candidates can apply for the LIC AE or AAO recruitment 2020 exam by visiting the official website of LIC, licindia.in from Tuesday, February 25, 2020.
Candidates can apply for LIC AE and AAO recruitment 2020 till March 15, 2020. The last date to take a print of the LIC application form is March 30, 2020.
LIC is conducting this recruitment exam to hire candidates for up to 50 vacancies of the Assistant Engineers post and 168 vacancies of the Assistant Administrative Officer post.
Age:
Candidates must be between 21 and 30 years of age. In the official notification, for reserved candidates, the relaxations in the upper age limit are given.
The selection process of Assistant Engineers and Assistant Administrative Officers will be done based on a three-tiered process and subsequent Pre- recruitment Medical examination.
Selected candidates in the final merit list will have to undergo Pre-Recruitment Medical Examination and if they clear their medical round, they will be offered an appointment.
Educational qualification:
- Assistant Engineer (AE) (Civil/Electrical)— B.Tech/B.E. (Civil) from an AICTE recognized Indian University/Institution.
- AE (Structural) —M. Tech / M.E. (Structural) from an AICTE recognized Indian University.
- AE (MEP engineers)— B. Tech. /B.E. (Mechanical/ Electrical) from an AICTE recognized Indian University.
- Assistant Architect— B. Arch. from a recognized Indian University/Institution.
- AAO (Chartered Accountant)– Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University.
- AAO (Actuarial) — Candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University.
- AAO (Legal) —Bachelor’s degree in Law or LLM from a recognized Indian University.
- AAO (Rajbhasha)— Candidate should have a Post Graduate Master’s Degree in Hindi/Hindi translation with English as one of the subjects at Bachelor’s Degree level.
- AAO (IT)— Candidate should have a Graduation degree in Engineering (Computer Science, IT or Electronics), or MCA or MSC (Computer Science) from a recognized University/ Institution.
