India fights COVID-19: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said through a video message that people should light lamps or candles at 9 PM on April 5 to show their solidarity against the novel coronavirus.

After this, Karnataka BJP MLA S Ramdas too urged people to light the lamps and said that Coronavirus is not heat resistant and it will die as the temperature increases.

MLA Ramdas also gave a clarification that there is a reason behind why PM Modi asked everyone to light the candle, so he requests everyone to light the lamps.

He added to it that Coronavirus is not heat resistant and thus it will die as the temperature will increase therefore light the bulb and kill the coronavirus, according to a report.
