Liquor shop salesman shot dead by customer after he charged Rs 10 extra

The victim was sent to the hospital nearby where he was declared dead on arrival and the body of the victim has been sent for autopsy

A salesman at a liquor shop was allegedly shot dead by a customer on Wednesday night for charging Rs 10 extra on the items he sold. Reportedly, the 25-year-old salesman got into heated argument with the customer for overcharging.

The police haven’t made any arrest on the case yet.  The salesman Kuldeep Nagar was a residence of Gulaothi Village in Bulandshahr, worked at a liquor shop near a market of building material in Aechar Village of Greater Noida.

According to the police, three men came to the shop to buy alcohol and they ended up having an argument with Kuldeep. Soon one of them took out a gun and fired three bullets at him. Two bullets hit Kuldeep in the abdomen and chest and he collapsed on the spot. The three men fled the spot on the bike while firing in the air.

A case of old enmity has been reported. The victim was sent to the hospital nearby where he was declared dead on arrival and the body of the victim has been sent for autopsy.

Following the incident, Kuldeep’s family filed a complaint against the three men and also told the police that a similar incident had taken place a few days back.

Kuldeep’s uncle alleged that the same youths had assaulted his nephew on March 19 when he refused to sell alcohol to them as the shop was closed and on Thursday the three men returned picked up a fight and shot him.

Two of the accused identified as Surendra from sector 36 Kasna, and Raju Gurjar from Bhoopkhedi Ghaziabad. The third person involved is yet to be identified.

They have been booked under IPC section 302 and 307. The police said that they are tracing the accused with the help of the CCTV footage and will make the arrest soon.
