09:09 PM | An Air India aircraft carrying 191 passengers from Dubai reportedly skidded off runway while landing at Calicut airport, Kerala. As per initial reports, the aircraft from Dubai to Calicut crashed after overshooting the runway, falling into the valley.

The aircraft has suffered extensive damages while rescue operations are currently underway.

5:03 PM| Bihar-cadre Indian Police Service (IPS) officer Vinay Tiwari, who was in Mumbai to investigate Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, returned to Patna on Friday. “I would say I wasn’t quarantined, the investigation was quarantined. Over 80 labourers of a tea plantation have been trapped in the landslide near Munnar. According to local authorities, relief teams are having trouble reaching the site due to heavy rains as the path is also broken.
