Fresh cases breached the 19,000-mark once again with 19,684 patients testing positive for the virus, taking India’s caseload to 6,05,068. India’s cumulative death toll has risen to 17,837. On the positive side, 3,59,671 people have recovered from the virus.

Indian National Congress leader and Supreme Court lawyer Abhishek Manu Singhvi refused to appear for the Chinese application TikTok which has been banned by the Government of India. Earlier on Wednesday, former Attorney General of India Mukul Rohtagi also refused to appear for TikTok.
