A Class four worker from the Delhi Jal Board has died from the coronavirus infection, officials said on Saturday.
“The group D employee died of Covid. He was also suffering from pneumonia and was admitted at Lok Nayak Hospital on May 22, where he died. The case has been forwarded for compensation,” the official told IANS.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Saturday said that a low pressure area will form in the Arabian Sea in the next 48 hours and will move towards the Gujarat and north Maharashtra coasts till June 3.
The IMD, in its daily bulletin, stated, "A low pressure area would form over Southeast-eastcentral Arabian Sea during next 48 hrs. To intensify into depression during subsequent 48 hours with possibility of further intensification. To move north-northwestwards towards Gujarat and north Maharashtra coasts till June 3."
A low pressure area and a depression are the first two levels on the IMD's eight-category scale used to classify cyclones based on their intensity.
The weather bureau said that under the influence of the likely formation of a low pressure system over the Arabian Sea, conditions will become favourable from June 1 for the onset of monsoon over Kerala.
