The 12th season of Indian Premier League, the biggest cricketing carnival on planet is all set to begin its proceedings from March 23, 2019, where the defending champions Chennai Super Kings will take on Royal Challengers Bangalore at the Chepauk Stadium in Chennai.
In the first match the two sides played against each other last season, in a swashbuckling display by Ambati Rayudu and Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the CSK had chased down the target of 206 after at one time the Chennai side were shell-shocked to 74/4. The second encounter of theirs in the last season was also a close one, but this time it was a low scoring affairs. Dhoni and Rayudu were once again the stars scoring 32 and 31 respectively in a successful chase of 128.
While the RCB has a team full of fresh faces, defending champions Super Kings has continued to bank on their core group. The fans could not have asked for a more mouth-watering start to the tournament than this.
Chennai Super Kings vs Royal Challengers Bangalore, Indian Premier League match will start at 08:00 PM IST on March 23. The toss will take place at 07:30 PM IST.
