Madhya Pradesh Gets Three New Train Services Starting August 3

Madhya Pradesh New Train Services: People in Madhya Pradesh get a huge travel upgrade on August 3 when Indian Railways launches three new superfast trains. These trains will connect Madhya Pradesh with major cities in neighbouring states and make travel easier for many.

1st Route

The first train is the Bhavnagar–Ayodhya Express, which will start from Bhavnagar in Gujarat every Monday at 1:50 pm. It reaches Ayodhya on Tuesday evening at around 6:30 pm. Return journey begins from Ayodhya at 10:45 pm the same day and arrives back in Bhavnagar early on Thursday morning at about 4:45 am.

This service has halts at many key stations, including Viramgam, Ajmer, Jaipur, Lucknow, and many more. The train will have modern LHB coaches and serve as a blessing for pilgrims travelling to Ram temple in Ayodhya, as local MP Nimuben Bambhaniya requested, reported Freepress journal.

2nd Route

The second route is the Rewa-Pune Superfast Express, which runs via Satna, Jabalpur, Nainpur, Balaghat, Gondia, Nagpur before reaching Pune. It will run weekly, leaving Rewa at 6:45 am on Wednesdays and arriving in Pune at 9:45 am the next day.

On return it leaves Pune Thursday at 3:15 pm and reaches Rewa Friday evening. This train will be highly useful for students, job seekers and medical travellers, especially from Rewa region and Nagpur, offering new connectivity without overcrowding the Itarsi route.

3rd Route

The third train is the Jabalpur–Raipur Superfast Express, which travels via Nainpur and Gondia. This link between Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh is expected to boost trade, tourism, and economic growth while helping tribal and rural areas connect better.

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw recently confirmed these services will run within two months and said they will ease passenger demand and reduce waiting lists. He shared the news in a letter to Rajya Sabha MP Vivek Tankha, and thanked people of Madhya Pradesh for their feedback and support in shaping these train plans
