Madhya Pradesh: Kamal Nath govt introduces a week off for policemen

The Madhya Pradesh govt in its first week at the office has introduced a day off every week for the policemen of the state.

The govt had earlier waived off farmer loans for crop debts of up to Rs 2 lakhs which were availed from nationalised and government banks situated in Madhya Pradesh as short-term crop debt noted by 31 March 2018.

The governments of Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan also announced loan waivers of farmers in days after coming to power.

In the run-up to the elections in the 3 states of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, the Congress Chief Rahul Gandhi had said that he would change the Chief Minister if they don’t waive off farmer loans in ten days after the coming of election results.
