Fresh from its Lok Sabha victory, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will seek to retain its bastions as Maharashtra and Haryana vote today, while the Opposition hopes to turn the tide by taking advantage of anti-incumbency.
Maharashtra Assembly Elections took place on Monday, October 21 for 288 Assembly seats. A voter turnout of 54.53 percent was recorded till 5 pm in the state.

ABP News-C voter opinion poll few days back had predicted that the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party and Shiv Sena combine would retain power in Maharashtra for the second term in succession term.
