Nationalist Congress Chief Ajit Pawar has won the electoral battle by a landslide margin from Baramati constituency in Maharashtra Assembly polls. Registering over 85% of the total votes polled, defeated the nearest rival Gopichand Kundlik Padalkar of the Bharatiya Janata Party by a landslide margin.
Early trends suggest that the Bharatiya Janata Party and Shiv Sena alliance will comfortably attain majority.
