Maharashtra HSC 12th Result 2020 Live Updates: Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) is likely to announce Class 12 Maharashtra HSC result 2020 today at 1 pm for science, commerce and arts stream. The online Maharashtra 12th result 2020 will be published on maharesult.nic.in 2020 HSC.
MSBSHSE chairperson Shakuntala Kale said that the SSC or Class 10 results will be announced by the end of July.
Over 15 lakh students were registered for Maharashtra Board class 12th exam this year. In the Mumbai division, which covers Mumbai, Thane, Raigad, and Palghar, HSC exams were conducted at 608 centres. There were six flying squads in addition to sit-in squads at ‘sensitive’ centres. Along with this, apt security arrangements, including video graphing was placed at all exam centres.
The Maharashtra Board could complete HSC exams before lockdown. For SSC, the Board had scrapped Geography exam.
The online mahresult.nic.in 2020 HSC will be provisional which will comprise of student name, roll number, marks obtained and other details. Soon, after the announcement of HSC Maharashtra result 2020, the original mark sheets will be provided to students.

The pass percentage of MCVC stream in Maharashtra HSC results 2020 has recorded 86.07, which is 7.14% higher than last year. The pass percentage of MCVC (vocational) in 2019 was 78.93%.
Science stream has recorded the highest pass percentage among other streams. The pass percentage of Science stream in Maharashtra HSC result 2020 stood at 96.93%. Last year, the passing percentage of Science stream was 92.6%.
The overall pass percentage of the Arts stream in Maharashtra HSC result 2020 is 82.63%, while it was 76.45% the previous year.
This year pass percentage of Commerce stream in Maharashtra HSC result 2020 recorded at 91.27%, while it was 88.28% last year.
Konkan division topped among the nine with a pass percentage of 95.89 while Aurangabad has the lowest pass percentage(88.18). Pune division bagged the second position with a pass percentage of 92.50.
Girls recorded pass percentage of 93.88 while boys recorded pass percentage of 88.04. This year as well girls have out performed boys by 5.84%.
The Maharashtra Board has released the stream-wise pass percentage. Science has recorded the highest pass percentage.
The Maharashtra HSC or Class 12 results have been declared today (Thursday, 16 July). However, students will be able to check their scores on the official website only at 1 pm.
After receiving a photocopy of answer-sheets, students can apply for re-evaluation or reassessment.
