In a shocking turn of events, an 18-year-old undergraduate student in Dhule district of Maharashtra gave birth to a child inside a hostel washroom on Monday, said police.

The incident took place in a Savitribai Phule Adivasi girls hostel toilet in Sakri town in Dhule district on February 29.

As per the police, the girl left the child in a bucket. The warden of the hostel heard the child crying in the toilet. She found the child inside a bucket.
