New Delhi, Dec 5 (IANS) A 50-year-old man was found murdered with a sharp-edged weapon in north-east Delhi’s Sonia Vihar on Saturday morning, police said.
“Birender Singh alias Pappu was found lying on the floor in a pool of blood with multiple injuries on his head. No forcible entry to the premises was noticed at the spot,” said Ved Prakash Surya, DCP, North East.
Crime Branch officials along with a forensic team inspected the spot. The body was shifted to the mortuary at the GTB Hospital.
Police teams formed to investigate the murder are scanning CCTV footage from the area to get some clues to the crime.
