Manikarnika box office collection Day 10: The Queen of Jhansi refuses to bow down at box office

Kangana Ranaut starrer Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi has been consistent at the box office collections as it has successfully made around Rs 60 crore after 7 days of its release. The movie can face a downfall in its collection as Rajkummar Rao and Sonam Kapoor starrer Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga will hit the screens on this weekend.

The film Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi has gathered a good collection of 8.75 crore on its opening day and it witnessed a massive growth on the republic day holiday by collecting Rs 18.10 crore on the second day. The film collection doesn’t seem to slow down as it collected 15.70 crore on the third day i.e. Sunday thereby bringing the total of 42.55 crore.

Manikarnika has earned approximately Rs 5.30 crore on Monday and on Tuesday the movie has earned Rs 5 crore approximately. The movie has raked in Rs 4.50 crore on Wednesday.

On Thursday, the movie is expected to have made Rs 3 crore at the box office taking its total to around Rs 60 crore.

Kangana registered the highest weekend collection for a female-centric historical war biopic film. With Manikarnika, Kangana has broken her own record where Tanu Weds Manu Returns (2015) held the highest grossing distinction and title till now.

Manikarnika is also the debut of Ankita Lokhande, who was seen playing the role of Jhalkaribai, a soldier who rose through the ranks in Rani Laxmibai’s army to become a prominent advisor. The film is directed by Kangana Ranaut and Krish Jagarlamudi.

The actor and now director Kangana Ranaut played the role on the silver screen with such finesse and perfection, that Rani Lakshmi Bai came alive on the celluloid because of her.

When Kangana comes on screen, she literally owns it and this time also was nothing different as people couldn’t take their eyes off her throughout the entire movie.
