The much-awaited, biographical period drama film, ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’ starring Kangana Ranaut is slated to release this Friday, January 25. The movie will be released alongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer ‘Thackeray’, which is a high-profile biopic.
Partly directed by Kangana Ranaut and Krish, the movie revolves around Rani Laxmibai of Jhansi who fought against the British during the Indian Rebellion of 1857. The film also stars Ankita Lokhande, who will make her Bollywood debut, Richard Keep, Jisshu Sengupta, Danny Denzongpa.
