MHT CET 2020 exam dates released, engineering exams to be held from Oct 12 to 20; Check Details

MHT CET 2020: The examinations are scheduled to be held from October 1 to October 20. Thus, the Engineering entrance examination (PCM) will be conducted from October 12 to October 20, 2020 in the state.

MHT CET 2020: Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell has released the revised schedule for the Common Entrance Test or MHT CET 2020 on the official website at mahacet.org. The examinations are scheduled to be held from October 1 to October 20. Thus, the Engineering entrance examination (PCM) will be conducted from October 12 to October 20, 2020 in the state.

CET Cell has released the dates after receiving permission to conduct the examination. Previously, in this month, Higher & Technical Education Minister, Uday Samant shared that the examinations will be conducted from October 1 to 15. The final dates have now been released.

Group Exam Dates
MHT CET 2020 – PCB October 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9
MHT CET 2020 PCM October 12, 13, 15, 16, 18, 19 and 20

MHT CET 2020 will be conducted on multiple days and in multiple slots to avoid gathering and overcrowding of students at exam centres. MAHACET or Maharastra CET cell will release details such as COVID19 guidelines and procedures for conducting the examination.

Students who will appear for the examination must keep a track of the official website mahacet.org for latest updates on the examination.

Complete schedule including date for release of admit card, result and counselling will be out soon on the website.

About MHT CET 2020:

MHT CET is the undergraduate level entrance examination for candidates to take admission to engineering, pharmacy and agricultural courses across the state of Maharashtra.

About 4.55 lakh students have applied for the MHT CET examination this year. Usually, the examination is conducted in May however, this year, MHT CET 2020 was postponed due to COVID19. New schedule has now been released.

Students seeking engineering courses in the state have to appear for PCM courses.

For the students who want to take admission to undergraduate courses in pharmacy or agriculture are required to appear for PCB exam.
