The entrance exam for NIFT 2021 is scheduled to be held on February 14. Held across 32 cities, the examination will be in pen and paper mode and give the aspirants a chance to get accepted into their dream college.

It is only natural for the candidates to feel anxious and stressed on the day of the examination. However in order to avoid any major blunders and crack the entrance exam, aspirants must keep the following in mind:

1. Stay ahead of time

This is the most basic advice to give, and yet it is the best. Traffic is always unpredictable, and so is the availability of rickshaws/cabs. So, pack all your stationary and documents the night before, wake up earlier and leave for the test center well before time.

2. Stay calm before, and during the examination

Nervousness and anxiety is only natural, but it might make you panic and make wrong decisions. So before you start the exam, take a deep breath, keep a calm mind, and be confident. Believe in yourself and give it your best.

3. Read the question paper very carefully

Out of worry that time may run out, candidates might rush through reading the questions. This could make you lose out on marks. Make sure you have one eye on the clock and yet your full attention on the questions when you’re reading them.

4. Do not linger on a single question for too long

It is frustrating when the answer to a question is on top of your head but you just cant seem to recall it. In case this happens, do not ponder too long. Move on and come back to it later after all the other questions are answered. Remember, time is of the essence.

5. Do not forget your Admit Card

Make sure to remember to carry all your important documents including the admit card and identification. Pack them up a night before to avoid any accidents last minute.

6. Follow COVID 19 guidelines

It is important to be responsible citizens to avoid the spread of the virus. So, wear your mask, sanitize your hands, and follow all the other guidelines so that you can ace the test and defeat the virus at the same time!
