A four-year-old Indian-origin girl living in Dubai has now beaten Covid-19 after winning the battle with cancer. It is believed that she is one of the youngest to beat the corona virus in the UAE (United Arab Emirates).
According to Gulf News report, Shivani won over cancer last year. She was admitted to the al-Futamim health hub on April 1 after being found infected with corona. Her mother is a health worker who was infected only after coming in contact.
As per reports, despite having no symptoms, Shivani and her father were examined, in which Shivani was found infected while her father was fully cured. Shivani and her mother were admitted to the same place. Special arrangements were made for the treatment of the girl child as she had a rare kidney cancer last year. The reports added, Shivani was discharged from the hospital on April 20.
Dr. A.K. Singh, medical director of Al-Futamet Health Hub, said: “I am not going to be able to do so. “Shivani had to undergo chemotherapy last year, so her immunity is still weak,” said Thofkar al-Baz. He said the doctors feared that his condition could worsen, so she was kept under surveillance. Fortunately, she had no additional difficulty due to infection.
Also, she was examined two times before confirming that she was no longer a victim from Covid-19.
The treatment of Shivani’s mother has also been completed but she has been kept under surveillance but can be discharged soon. It is believed that Shivani’s age is the lowest among those who beat the virus in the UAE.
Talking about children, a seven-year-old Syrian girl in Abu Dhabi and a nine-year-old boy from the Philippines have beaten the virus too.
