SSLC Exam Result: Moodbidri boy emerges as state topper after re evaluation; Scores 625 out of 625

SSLC Exam Result: Hard work never goes in vain. This proverb turned into a reality for teenager when his revaluation results gave him the reward for his hard work.

Sujnan R Shetty, a student of Alva’s English Medium High School in Moodbidri, became state SSLC topper after the re-evaluation of two papers.

He appeared for the SSLC examination 2019, the result of which was announced was announced on April. Shetty then had scored 623 out of the total 625 marks.

Out of the full marks, he scored two marks less in two subjects – [English – one mark and Kannada – one mark]. Not satisfied with his marks, he applied of scrutiny of answer scripts.

The re- evaluation results were announced on Thursday and the examiner allotted him two more marks.

After scrutiny of answers, Shetty’s score card now reflects 625 out of the total 625 marks.

According to reports, Shetty will receive a grant of Rs 2 lakh for higher studies.

“M. Mohan Alva, chairman, Alva’s Education Foundation, on Friday announced Rs 2 lakh incentive to Mr Shetty for this feat.

His father, Ramesh Shetty, is the principal of Alva’s Pre-University College and mother, is a homemaker,”   reports www.coastaldigest.com.
