Bhopal: More than half of the people who tested positive for coronavirus in Bhopal showed no sign and were categorized as asymptomatic. The health experts were alarmed when they got to know about it and the major symptoms and signs at the time when the positive cases were admitted were reported as ‘NIL’ in 31 positive cases. The total reported cases as of April stands at 83 in Bhopal.
Almost all of these persons have been hospitalized. Medical experts are calling for a recheck at the need for the hospitalization of all the positive cases and instead rationalize the use of precious resources like personal protective equipment and masks before the surge in Covid19 cases.
In the last week, a huge number of coronavirus patients have been admitted to private and government-run hospitals after testing positive for coronavirus.
The health department has admitted that there is a shortage of PPE and other essential gear. They further adeed to it that this is the srmour whixh will be used by the haelth proffesionals to9o fight the war against COVID19, the consulatant added.
