Force Gurkha BS6 was first introduced at the Auto Expo in the year 2020. According to many reports, the company always wanted to release this powerful SUV for sale in the Indian market in the latter half of this year. But as the year unfolded, the company was not able to do so and extended its launch till 2021.
In addition to this, Force has tested Gurkha several times in India already. Recently, once again, the white-colored Gurkha Force B6 has been seen during testing, according to media reports, the car may now be launched in January 2021 next month.
The lower variants of the force Gurkha SUV were seen during the testing. The new Force Gurkha represents the same image of the previous model, but thanks to its new grill, new front bumper, and a little redesigned taillights and LED DRLs, it is looking more modern than ever.
The Gurkha will also come up with manual locking differences and a low-range gearbox to give the drivers the best performance in tough terrains and routes. This is because Gurkha is an off-roading SUV and is designed to cruise on hilly, rugged, mud, and water-filled paths.
The new Force Gurkha BS6 will come with a 2.6-liter diesel engine capable of generating a peak torque of 89 hp and 260 Nm. This engine will only be paired with a five-speed manual gearbox. In addition, it is also likely to get a standard off-road kit, which will provide all kinds of off-roading accessories.
Talking about the interior of the force Gurkha, the new Gurkha will see major changes. The SUV is now equipped with a completely new touchscreen infotainment system, a new instrument cluster, a MID display, and a new design circular air vent with visual seats in the second row.
