Mughal Garden to open for visitors from February 13; Check timing, nearest metro station & other details

The famous Mughal Garden will be open for visitors from 13 February, i.e. Saturday, over 10 months since it was closed during the pandemic.

President Ram Nath Kovind will open the annual “Udyanotsav” of the Rashtrapati Bhavan on February 13, the statement said.

As per the information received, the Mughal Garden of Rashtrapati Bhavan will be open to the general public from February 13, over 10 months since it was closed during the pandemic. It will also be open on Saturdays and Sundays (except government holidays).

Mughal Garden opening time:

The Mughal Garden will be open to the visitors for six hours i.e. from 10 AM to 4 PM. Registration is free for admission, which can be done online.

“To maintain the social distancing norms, three pre-booked time slots at 10:30 hours, 12:30 hours, and 1430 hours have been fixed with a maximum limit of 25 visitors per slot,” said the press release. This historic building was closed to the general public in light of the Covid-19 pandemic since March 13 last year.

Water, milk bottles, briefcases, handbags, ladies purses, cameras, radios, umbrellas and other objectionable items will be banned due to security concerns.

It’s also important for the visitors to follow Covid protocols such as wearing a mask, maintaining social distance, etc, the statement said.

Mughal Garden Nearest Metro Station

To reach Mughal Garden, the nearest metro station is Central Secretariat. People can exit at Rail Bhawan and walk till Gate Number 35.

Mughal Garden Ticket Price

Registration is free for admission, which has to be done online. Only one booking can be made from one mobile number on the website rashtrapatisachivalaya.gov. Those who have done booking online will have to carry an identity card.
