Mumbai-based 3-year-old yoga and wellness startup, SARVA has managed to raise $6-million funding from various fitness and music industry celebs including superstar Jennifer Lopez and her fiance, baseball legend Alex Rodriguez.

For the duo, who are also often featured among myriad lists of the most powerful celebrity couples in the US entertainment and sporting industries, the investment in Sarva is their first in an Indian venture.

Lopez, who is widely perceived as one of the world’s top ranking entertainers across movie and music industries, and Rodriguez, commonly acknowledged to be one of the greatest short stops ever to step onto a baseball diamond, were introduced to SARVA by Mark Mastrov, who is Rodriguez’s partner in other ventures.
