Incidents of husband-wife fighting over petty issues are common for all. Appalling incidents are also reported where husband and wife have killed one another over trivial arguments.

One such incident has been reported from Ulhasnagar on Sunday where a 38-year-old man has allegedly strangled his wife to death for working on a holiday.

The woman identified as Rekha Pagare (35) was at her home in Ulhasnagar on Sunday. The couple got into an argument when his husband Dilip Pagare did not like the fact that his wife worked as a domestic worker.

On Sunday when his wife was leaving for work after Gudi Padwa celebration, he got into heated argument with her which rose higher and he strangled her to death.

The man has been booked for killing his wife and the probe into the matter is underway.

Another shocking incident was reported from Mumbai last month, where a man was arrested for strangling his wife to death after she refused to prepare snacks for him. The accused was fasting and he asked his wife to make tea and snacks for him in the evening. Soon after it, the deceased started arguing with her husband and the argument rose so much that the deceased started to take her luggage and leave for her parent’s home.

While the deceased was standing at the bus stop, the accused approached her and asked her to go back to their house but when she abused him repeatedly, he strangled her to death.
