Mumbai, the metropolis of Maharashtra, is home to numerous cultural and tourist attractions. Alibaug, a small town located just a brief ferry ride from Mumbai, is a popular tourist and local destination.
Alibaug (alternatively spelt Alibag) is a minor coastal town in the Raigad district of Maharashtra. This region is characterised by its beaches, camping, and scenic surroundings. Alibaug, located approximately 100 kilometres from Mumbai, is a popular weekend getaway for Mumbai residents.
Additionally, a new outbreak of violence has disrupted the peace in Manipur, leaving two people dead and seven others wounded.
Alibaug, also known as “Mini Goa,” is renowned for water sports such as parasailing, banana boating, jet skiing, and speed boating.
The quickest method to reach Alibaug from Mumbai is by ferry, which takes only one hour compared to three hours by car.
