‘Jhund’ film poster starring Amitabh Bachchan as a football coach is out. The poster of the film first posted by the actor on his Twitter handle, shows a back-shot of Amitabh with slum-like locality in the background.

The poster to a great extent justifies the subject of the film which is based on Vijay Barse, founder of the NGO Slum Soccer, who rehabilitated street kids by turning them into soccer players.

Marathi director Nagraj Manjule is directing the film. He is known to direct the critically acclaimed film Sairat. The biographical sports-drama is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Raaj Hiremath, Savita Raj Hiremath and NagrajManjule, under the banner of T-Series, Tandav Films and Aatpaat.

Jhund kicked off in November last year and is currently expected to release around May 8 this year. The film is shot in Nagpur, from start to finish.
