Nalwa is one of the 90 constituencies to go for polls for Haryana Legislative Assembly on October 21. Nalwa falls under Hisar Lok Sabha constituency of Haryana. Ranbir Gangwa is the current MLA of Nalwa.

In the 2014 Haryana Vidhan Sabha (Haryana Legislative Assembly) Elections, INLD candidate Ranbir Gangwa defeated HJCBL’ Chander Mohan.
