NATA 2020 Second Test Result: The Council of Agriculture (CoA) has announced the NATA 2020 Second Test Result on the official website. Candidates are requested to visit the official website at nata.in for the process to access and download their respective NATA 2020 Second Result.

The first test of NATA was conducted on August 29 and the results were declared on September 4, the second test was held on September 12 and the results have been released now.

The best score secured out of the two — NATA first test and NATA second — will be considered for the final merit list of admission to the first year of BArch programme.

As per the official notice, earlier the NATA was supposed to release the second test result on September 17, but, because of the administrative reasons, NATA announced the results on September 18.

NATA 2020 Second Test Result: How to check

  • Step 1: Go to the official website of NATA i.e., nata.in.
  • Step 2: On the homepage, select the tab designated for NATA second test response sheet and results.
  • Step 3: A new page will open on the screen.
  • Step 4: Enter the asked credentials.
  • Step 5: Click on the submit button.
  • Step 6: The ‘NATA 2020 Second Test Result’ will appear on the screen.
  • Step 7: Download it and take a printout for future use.

Every year, the NATA examination is conducted by the CoA and it determines the aptitude of candidates in the field of architecture. The exam is conducted twice a year by the COA and goes on for the duration of three hours. The examination was postponed this year due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

The eligibility test measures a candidate’s drawing and observation skills, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity, Mathematics at 10+2 level and critical thinking ability that have been acquired by the candidate over the past few years and are related to the specific field of study.

This time, the test of NATA — first and second test — were conducted in two shifts each and in two modes — centre-based and online home-based. The council, this year as a precautionary measure during the coronavirus, had provided the candidates with the a chance to appear for the NATA 2020 test from their homes online or from council-allotted designated NATA exam centres.

Around 40,000 aspirants applied for the second test of NATA. But, only 22,289 candidates appeared for the exam. A statement released on September 12 said that 8,202 candidates appeared for the NATA 2020 second test from their homes while 14,087 candidates appeared in the NATA second test from 158 designated exam centres.
