Every year, June 15 is celebrated at Nature Photography Day. The day aims to honour the photographers who are passionate about making Nature Photography.

Nature photography is conducted outdoors and devoted to displaying natural elements such as landscapes, wildlife, plants, and close-ups of natural scenes and textures. Nature lovers and photographers celebrate this day with enthusiasm. They capture the breath-taking beauty all around us and encourage others to see the wonders of our natural Earth.

History of Nature Photography Day:

This day is the initiative of the Nature Photographers around the world who formed the North American Nature Photography Association (NANPA)in the year 1994. In 2006, NANPA celebrated the first Nature Photography Day. The association has 3,000 members. The NANPA, each year, conducts various workshops and events for amateur photographers as well. The winners of the events are awarded a new camera and a NANPA membership.
