Application for Navodaya NVS Classes 9 and 11: For the 2024–2025 school year, the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti is accepting applications for admission to Grades 9–12 via the Lateral Entry Selection Test (LEST). The JNV lateral entrance application deadline is September 31st, 2018. Students applying for admission to Grades 9 and 10 can do so through the NVS website (navodaya.gov.in). The day of the selection exam is scheduled for February 2, 2024.
Registration for NVS Class 6 for the year 2024 is now open at navodaya.gov.in. Class 10 students from government-recognized schools in areas where the JNV is active are eligible to apply to LEST for admission to Class 11. The student’s birthday must fall between 1 June 2007 and 31 July 2009. Students must be in the eighth grade at an accredited school and born between May 1, 2009, and July 31, 2011 to be eligible for Class 9 LEST. Class 11 applicants will take an objective-type paper (OMR) test that covers topics like reasoning, writing, math, science, and history. The test will be available in both English and Hindi. Questions in the Class 9 entrance exam will be multiple choice and will cover objective areas like Hindi, English, arithmetic, and science.

- To register for the Class 9 or Class 11 lateral entry selection test, go to the appropriate link on the homepage.
- To apply for a specific course, select its registration link.
- Please complete the application by filling in the requested information.
- Please upload the files in the appropriate format.
- Take a look at the NVS LEST application for Class 11 or Class 9 and send it in.
- Download and store for later use.
