The 20-year-old girl who is now married, reveals a disturbing account of the sexual harassment she faced at the hands of Nawaz’s brother, and the actor’s complete apathy at her repeated complaints. “Which movie are you watching for you to cook up such allegations? This isn’t possible,’” Nawaz (bade Papa) would tell her.
She recounts the horror went on despite her having raised an alarm several times. “I was 9 when it began happening to me, but I didn’t understand what was happening to me then. I didn’t have any knowledge of why he’s touching me in such ways. But as I grew, I began realising that this isn’t right. And I didn’t tell them once, but I told them repeatedly. And it continued even after I had told them as nobody supported me.”
