The much-awaited film Serious Men featuring Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead is all set to release on the OTT platform on October 2. Directed by Sudhir Mishra, the upcoming film is based on a novel of the same name by Manu Joseph.
Nawazuddin is one of the leading actors in Bollywood and fans are looking forward to watch the film. Serious Men will be the first collaboration of Nawazuddin with the director Mishra. The film is written by Bhavesh Mandalia.
“I am excited about this film as I waited almost 20 years to work with Sudhir Mishra. It’s a dream come true. I can’t wait for the audience to watch ‘Serious Men’ and join this journey with me, this Gandhi Jayanti,” the actor said.
The film shows the story of an ambitious underachiever who uses his son’s newfound fame for his family’s fortune. The film is helmed by Bombay Fables and Cine Raas and features Aakshath Das, Shweta Basu Prasad, Nassar, and introduces actor Indira Tiwari.
The talented actor Nawazuddin was last seen in Raat Akeli Hai directed by Honey Trehan. The crime thriller featured classic actor Radhika Apte and was released on Netflix last month. The movie got decent reviews from fans and now it will be interesting to see the performance of Serious Men.
