Narcotics Bureau Control on Friday arrested Siddharth Pathani from Hyderabad in the drugs case linked to Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death.
The development comes just two weeks before the first death anniversary of the late actor who was found dead at his Bandra residence on June 14, 2020.
Siddharth Pithani was Rajput’s friend and one of the flatmates of the late actor’s Bandra apartment and had been questioned by the CBI earlier and had given statements to the Mumbai Police and Enforcement Directorate.
In his statement to investigators, he had narrated the ordeal of what happened between June 8 and June 14, 2020, and how Disha Salian’s death affected the late actor.
Several people including Sushant’s girlfriend actress Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik were arrested in this drugs probe last year.
