NEET PG result 2020 to be declared on this date, know steps to check and cut off details

NEET PG results 2020: National Board of Examinations (NBE) is all set to release the results for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) exam before January 31, 2020, on its official website, nbe.edu.in. Candidates who had appeared for the exam can visit the official website to check the result.

The NEET PG exam was conducted on January 5 in across 165 cities in an online mode. The exam scorecards of the candidates will be available on the website. Qualified candidates can download the NEET PG scorecard 2020 from the first week of February.

NEET PG counseling will be held from the second week of March for admission to 19,953 MD, 10,821 MS, 1979 PG Diploma and 1338 DNB seats in online mode.

For selection, Unreserved (UR) category candidates need to score at least 50th percentile. While SC/ST/OBC and UR-PH medical graduates, it is 40th and 45th percentile, respectively.

How to check the NEET PG result 2020

  • Step 1: Go to the official website, natboard.edu.in
  • Step 2: Click NEET PG under result section available on the homepage
  • Step 3: A new page will appear
  • Step 4: Log-in using the registration number
  • Step 5: Result will be displayed on the screen
  • Step 6: Download it, and take a print out of it for further use

The entrance exam is being conducted for a candidate who aspires to take the admission in Master of Surgery (MS) and Doctor of Medicine (DM) courses offered in government, private, deemed and central universities. Around 1.48 lakh candidates participated in the NEET PG last year.

The merit position for all India 50 per cent quota seats will be announced separately. Candidates are advised to keep track of the official website at nbe.edu.in for the latest updates of the NEET PG result 2020.
