NEET Result 2020: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released an important notification related to the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG) Result 2020 and the hold of NEET (UG) 2020 in the second part for the Covid-19 infected aspirants. All the NEET 2020 candidates can check the notice on the official website, at nta.ac.in.
The NEET (UG) 2020 was held across the country on September 13, 2020 for 15.97 lakh registered candidates.
NEET 2020 to be conducted again for Covid-19 affected candidates:
“As per the revised SOP of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare dated 10.10.2020, the Candidates who were either Covid-19 positive or in containment zones (as on 13.09.2020), had to appear the aforesaid exam on a later date, in view of the safety of the other candidates and exam personnel,” read the official notice released by NTA on Monday.
“The Hon’ble Apex Court, was pleased to allow NTA to conduct the NEET (UG) 2020 in second part on 14.10.2020 for the candidates who could not appear in NEET (UG) 2020 on 13.09.2020 for the above-mentioned candidates.”
NEET 2020 exam on October 14: Timings
According to the notice, the NEET 2020 for aforesaid candidates will be held on October 14, 2020 (Wednesday) from 2 PM to 5 PM.
NEET Result 2020: Date
Also, the combined Result of NEET (UG) 2020 (conducted on September 13 and to be held on October 14, 2020), will be announced on October 16, (Friday).
NEET Result 2020: Steps to check
- Step 1: Candidates should visit the official website of NTA NEET, i.e., ntaneet.nic.in.
- Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link ‘NEET 2020 Result’.
- Step 3: Enter your registration number and other details
- Step 4: Click on the submit
- Step 5: Your NEET Result 2020’will be displayed.
- Step 7: Download it and take a printout for future reference.
