Subhas Chandra Bose was born on 23rd January, 187 at Cuttack in Odisha. He was the 9th child out of 14 children of Jankinath Bose and Shri Prabhavati Dutta. Subhas Chandra Ji’s father, Jankinath, was a famous lawyer of that time.
Earlier this month it was decided that Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s birth anniversary on January 23 will be celebrated as Parakram Diwas every year from now on.
