Nissan Magnite and Kia Sonet: The all-new Nissan Magnite will be launched after Diwali in India, it is all set to enter the competitive domestic market. Nissan Magnite is loaded with features, now let’s compare it with Kia Sonet. Nissan has been struggling in India since the last few years and has high hopes with the new vehicle Magnite. The car was revealed yesterday, Nissan Magnite is a sub-compact SUV which is based on Triber’s platform.

According to the Japanese carmaker, the Magnite will have outstanding features, however, the recently launched Kia Sonet will be a big competition as it is loaded with most features. Sonet has managed to get over 50,000 orders in the last two months. Now lets compare both the brand new cars.

Nissan Magnite vs Kia Sonet: Features compared

Nissan Magnite comes with an eight-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a fully digital instrument panel with a seven-inch TFT multi-information display (MID), automatic AC, rear AC vents, steering mounted controls, cruise control, wireless smartphone charger, ambient lighting, puddle lamp, tyre pressure monitoring system, flat-bottom steering, JBL sound system, and Eco driving mode.

On the other hand, Kia Sonet gets a 10.25-inch infotainment system with UVO connectivity suite, an eight-inch touchscreen with smartphone connectivity on lower variants, fully digital instrument panel with a 4.2-inch MID, ventilated front seats, tyre pressure management system, sound-mood lighting system, BOSE sound system, air purification system with Virus Protect feature, wireless charging pad, electric sunroof, automatic AC, rear AC vents, automatic headlamps, etc.

However, Kia Sonet gets additional features like a bigger touchscreen system with connectivity suite, ventilated front seats, air purifier, Bose sound system, different traction and driving modes, and electric sunroof. But most of these features are available only on the top model.

Nissan Magnite gets provisions like dual front airbags, ABS, EBD, reverse parking sensors, speed alert system, etc. as standard. Higher variants also get VDC (vehicle dynamics control), hill start assist, traction control, and reverse parking camera with 360-degree view and bird’s eye view.

To sum it up, Nissan Magnite may not be as feature-rich as Kia Sonet but it is loaded with a plethora of provisions to give rivals like Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, etc. a tough competition.
